Our audiology staff consists of four audiologists and an audiology technician who are available to assist you in the proper selection of hearing devices, counsel you on their appropriate care and maintenance, and provide assistive listening devices, batteries and repair service.
Our professional audiologists are graduates of university programs and have Masters' or Doctor's degrees in audiology. State licensed, they also have their Certificates of Clinical Competency in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Continuing education courses keep them informed of the latest treatments available for hearing loss so that they are able to provide up-to-date solutions. They bring a wealth of education and experience in meeting your hearing needs and strive to exceed your expectations in providing individualized treatment..

Our audiologists are also available as speakers for your social, fraternal, or senior group. Topics may include: hearing loss and rehabilitation, hearing conservation, and hearing in children.

Lisa R. Busald, MS, CCC-A, received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in audiology from Purdue University. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Languarge-Hearing Association. She has over 20 years experience in the field of audiology, particularly in the fitting of hearing instruments. Married and the mother of two sons, she spends her free time with her family and volunteering at school and church.

Jennifer J. Main, MA, CCC-A
Jennifer J. Main, MA, CCC-A, received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disoders from Truman State University (Kirksville, MO) and her Master of Science in Communication Disorders, Audiology emphasis, from the University of Minnesota. She completed her clinical fellowship year at the prestigious League for the Hard of Hearing in New York City where she also served as a staff audiologist. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Some of her specific audiological interests are hearing devices and pediatric audiology. Recently married, she is an avid reader and enjoys running.

Marla A. Rubenstein, MS, CCC-A, graduated from Indiana University and completed her Master's studies at the Central Institute for the Deaf, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. She has had over 20 years of experience in dispensing hearing instruments. Married and the mother of two children, Marla enjoys spending time with family, movies, and traveling. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Diane G. Gardner, MS, CCC-A

Diane G. Gardner, MS, CCC-A, graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a Master of Science in Audiology. She specializes in the testing and treatment of balance disorders and is an advocate for hearing conservation. Diane also leads the Midwest Ear Institute's "Hear Better" classes which helps new hearing instrument wearers and their families improve their communication skills. Married and the mother of two children, Diane enjoys yoga, reading, biking, and travel.
Lori A. Ackerman, Audiology Assistant
Lori Ackerman attended
Ball
State
University and has worked in health care for close to 20 years. She is our Medical Hearing Aids receptionist and technician and assists in scheduling appointments. She is also available to repair and provide maintenance for your hearing instruments. Lori is married and the mother of three teenagers.
